What is an annual limit?
Your annual coverage limit is the total amount you can be reimbursed over one 12-month policy period.
Your limit resets at the beginning of a new policy period.
What does that mean?
For example, let’s say you have an annual limit of $5,000. And so far you have paid $1,500 in eligible vet bills.
That leaves $3,500 of coverage left for this policy period. When your new policy period starts, your annual limit will reset to $5,000.
What is an annual deductible?
An annual deductible is the amount you must satisfy for covered expenses every plan year before you can start being reimbursed.
You can select a deductible of $100, $250, or $500 and only need to satisfy it once per policy period.
Choosing what's best for you
A higher deductible can lower your monthly payment, but it will take longer to start getting cash back.
A lower deductible can help you get cash back for your claims faster, but your monthly payment may be a bit higher.
What is a reimbursement percentage?
Your reimbursement percentage is the portion of covered costs paid back to you after you meet your deductible. Complete CoverageSM offers 70%, 80%, or 90% reimbursement.
How does it work in my plan?
Let’s say you have a plan with a $500 deductible. How would that work with an eligible vet bill of $3,500?
Based on your reimbursement selection, you would get:
70% of $3,000 = $2,100 cash back
80% of $3,000 = $2,400 cash back
90% of $3,000 = $2,700 cash back
Choosing a lower reimbursement percentage can lower your monthly payment.
Choosing a higher reimbursement percentage can get you more cash back on eligible vet bills, but your monthly payment may be a bit higher.
? What is an annual coverage limit?
Annual Coverage Limit – The total amount you can be reimbursed over one 12-month policy period.
This limit resets whenever a new policy period begins.
Tip: Pick the highest amount you think you might spend on accidents and illnesses in a year. Raising your coverage limit later will require starting a new plan and make any conditions your pet has had pre-existing.
? What is a deductible?
Deductible - The amount you must satisfy for covered veterinary expenses before you can start being reimbursed.
You can select a deductible of $100, $250, or $500. You'll only need to satisfy it once per 12-month policy period.
Tip: If you want a lower premium, select a higher deductible. If you want more money back for your claims, select a lower deductible.
? What is a reimbursement percentage?
Reimbursement Percentage - The percentage of covered costs paid back to you after your deductible is satisfied.
You can choose to be reimbursed 90%, 80%, or 70% of your vet bill.
Tip: If you want a lower premium, select a lower reimbursement percentage. If you want more money back for your claims, select a higher reimbursement percentage.

Why is this not included in the Trial of Insurance?
Preventive Coverage is not included in the Trial of Insurance because it’s an optional endorsement to our plans. Only your plan will have no payment due for the first 30 days of your 12-month plan period.
Looking for wellness coverage?
Wellness is offered as an add-on to our plans to help cover your pet's preventative care. You’ll be able to add it for as little as $10 a month after you make your plan selection.
Wellness coverage is not included in the Trial of Insurance, so payment will be due for it today.
Why payment information is needed:
To enroll in this trial of insurance without providing payment information, just call 1-877-343-6281.
To avoid an accidental lapse of coverage when the Trial of Insurance ends, you can provide your payment information now and we’ll set up automatic bill pay. After the first 30 days, your 12-month plan will continue at the premium quoted.
If you change your mind about having coverage, you may cancel at any time.

What to do if you aren't sure of your pet's breed:
If you think you know your pet’s breed, you can select the breed closest to what you believe your pet could be.
If your pet is a Mixed Breed and you know at least one of the breeds, you can search for that breed and choose one of the 'Mix' options, such as ‘Shepherd Mix’ or ‘Husky Mix.’
If you are unsure about your pet’s breed or they do not have one breed that stands out, type “Mixed Breed” into the search bar and select your pet’s size.
